Do you have a new year resolution or a long list of must-do for 2012?
In some ways I find it useful to put the focus for a year in an area of life I want to grow in. Focus often helps to materialise the said dream/desire. However, this year I don’t really have a resolution, rather I decide to take the decision to control my thoughts better. To be more mindful of my thoughts habits and patterns and learning to shift my thinking to where I want to head to.
What is the difference between taking a decision, rather than having a resolution? Not sure. A decision feels more empowering to me. A resolution seems more an aim to become this ideal self. A decision is an action. It doesn’t imply changing ourself to become a perfect/ideal person. It means that it’s ok to stumble in the process. To have bad and good days at keeping up with the decision. It’s part of the learning process. It feels more empowering, but also kinder.

…a trip meant for work, turned out to be very memorable…very much grateful and appreciative…truly blessed!
…exactly! So appropriate with our current reading at work…positivity IS key!

When one door of happiness closes, another opens. But often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.
So proud of the girls!
